Keto Mozzarella cheese Sticks With Marinara Sauce


  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon thick cream
  • 12 cup grated parmesan cheese and 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour 1/4 teaspoon each of salt, pepper, and garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning, 2 teaspoons
  • Cut 8 ounces of mozzarella cheese into 12 sticks.


  1. Cut the 8 oz. block of mozzarella into 12 sticks.
  2. Whisk two eggs with two tablespoons of heavy cream in a small bowl.
  3. Almond flour, coconut flour, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning should all be combined in a separate basin. The components are combined by stirring.
  4. The mozzarella sticks should be coated in the flour mixture after being dredged in the egg mixture.
  5. Add a second layer of the egg mixture, then the flour mixture. The secret is to coat each stick twice.
  6. Place mozzarella sticks on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, and then freeze for at least an hour.
  7. Add oil to a frying pan or a small saucepan and heat over medium-high. Add the mozzarella sticks in groups of three to five sticks each. Cook for approximately 2-3 minutes, flipping once or twice.


  2. As an alternative to a brick of mozzarella, use string cheese.
  3. They can be prepared by pan-frying, baking, and air-frying.
  4. The mozzarella sticks must be double-breaded; do not omit this step.
  5. Another crucial step is to freeze them before frying them. This will stop the cheese from melting through.
  6. Avoid raising the temperature of the oil during frying so that the cheese doesn’t burn.
  7. Making mozzarella sticks in advance and freezing them before cooking is possible.
